This project is to design a new series of packaging design for the Tempo, a tissue company in Hong Kong.

Tempo tissue is often on the must-bring list in our daily life, as it can help in various occasions. This inspires me to have the idea to design this set of packaging design. The colorful design shows the energetic and cheerful image, which can attract people to purchase.

Also, each design is inspired by the usage of the Tempo tissue, so each of them can be specially used in different occasions and has their own story to tell.

For the Detail:

For this design, the theme is 'emergency' and the importance of tissue paper.
When somebody bleeds, especially in the occasion of nosebleed, Tempo tissue would be extremely useful in this kind of emergency incident. Hence, an emergency box is located in the center of the front design.

The Red Cross indicates the sticker of the tissue, and emphasizes the emergency use of tissue paper.
When there is no tissue paper in the toilet that can be a kind of ‘emergency’ as well.
The Chinese words 「無紙巾?」means 'What? No tissue paper left?’

The tiny green logo indicates the support to the earth. Encouraging people to use tissue in a more environmental friendly way, for instance, do not waste tissue paper.
'Sharing' is the theme of this design.
In Hong Kong, there is a famous phrase called '開心share', literary means 'sharing something happily to other'.
When we want to get tissue paper from others, we often says '可唔可以借張紙巾黎?'(May I 'borrow' a tissue paper from you?) But after we 'borrow' it, we would never give back. This inspires me to design the back.

The Chinese words '借紙巾?唔洗還啦!' means 'You don't need to give back if you borrow the tissue from me!'. This shows the spirit of sharing.
The theme is 'Be bold' in this front design.
When people cry, we always give them the tissue paper.
I hope this design can help to encourage them to be strong while people are frustrated or in a blue mood.
The Chinese 「唔好唔開心la」 means 'Please don't be sad, Cheer up!'

Sharing of Tempo Tissue
After finish our meal outdoor, we always use tissue to clean our mouth and hands.
What if there is only one piece of tissue left, when a group of friends have just finished their meals?

I often face this problem. And in this situation, we always tear the tissue into various parts (it depends on the no. of people we have) and share to each other.

And this act is more environmental friendly, as we seldom use the whole piece of tissue paper to clean our mouths or hands after meal. Sharing of tissue paper can help to reduce the use of tissue, so as to support the environmental protection.
